This may look like a Photoshop effect, but it's actually one of our fish under the ice. The ice comes and goes (for example, this picture is from this morning and the ice is gone this afternoon), but the fish basically don't move for three months. We imagine the cold water isn't very pleasant, but they've all made it though every winter so far.
