With five days of 45 degree weather, our pond went from frozen a couple inches thick to almost completely ice free. We were happy to see our fish alive and well -- we usually bring them to a big tank inside, but decided not to this year. (These aren't our good koi -- those are in the pond that's half in the greenhouse, half outside but covered, and heated.)
