
We've never liked our mail slot -- everything just gets jammed in there, and our magazines and other large mail get folded up. Outgoing mail has to be precariously attached to the slot with a binder clip. Most people solve these problems with a wall-mount mailbox, but we, of course, are not most people. After receiving permission from the Postmaster, we installed this rural mailbox on the side of our front porch. Note to manufacturers of anything: stop with the flat-head screws already.
