For those of you who don't know, July 24 is a state holiday in Utah. On several holidays each year, these flags magically show up in people's front yards in our neighborhood, then disappear the next day. We kid. The local Boy Scouts do it. This is actually our first flag in several years. Ever since we met the troop leader who lived a few doors down the street, we've been skipped by the flag patrol. Non-coincidentally, this troop leader recently moved, and look at that, we get a flag again. Apparently the old leader didn't pass along his list of the morally unstraight and unclean.
