We've had signal quality issues with Comcast since forever. Mostly out of curiosity (and perhaps a bit of 1970's nostalgia) , we bought this cheap antenna to see what kind of signal we can get from over-the-air broadcasts. For quick set-up purposes, we just sat the antenna on the desk you see here, and pointed it in the general direction suggested by AntennaWeb.

The result: STUNNING. It should be illegal for Comcast to call its signal HD. We get a better signal over-the-air. For free.
