We were happy when it was announced that the early episodes of American Idol Season 8 would feature fewer bad auditions and more actual talent. In reality though, all we've noticed is more talking and drama, and very little actual singing of any kind. Wake us up when the real singing starts.
In the meantime, our favorite contestant from Season 6, Melinda Doolittle, has finally released an album. We highly recommend it.
