We wish we had more chickadees -- Salt Lake is just on the south edge of their range. When they are around, there's usually only a couple at a time, and they are very skittish. They don't hang out on the feeder, but rather hop about in the trees, fly over to the feeder, grab a seed, and fly back to the trees. We especially like their "tee hee" call.
