Now that we don't have American Idol to write about for a while, we figured we'd start making some music recommendations. As the David vs. David debate clearly exposed, we have very different tastes in music.



Jeff recommends "Exile on Mainstream" by Matchbox 20. Hard to believe their first album came out 12 years ago. Exile combines six new songs with eleven greatest hits. One of Jeff's favorite bands ever. Rhapsody category: Adult Alternative.

Konnor recommends "These Friends of Mine" by Rosie Thomas, who he first learned about on a blog he likes to read, Sand in the Gears. With the large amount of over-produced music out now, simplicity seems to be vastly under-appreciated. Rhapsody category: Modern Folk.
