Jeff & Konnor's Blog

A somewhat uninspiring week overall. By this point the singers have their "things" that you come to expect, and everything they did this week was, well, expected. In order of appearance:

Jason: Seemed disinterested this week, as though he didn't really care to be on the show anymore. Forever in Blue Jeans -- boring but not horrible. September Morn -- boring and horrible.

David Cook: Our major point of disagreement as usual. Jeff thought he was good, but not great. Konnor remains unimpressed.

Brooke: I'm a Believer -- one of the more corny karaoke performances we've seen in a while, but... I Am I Said -- possibly the best performance of the night, excellent song choice for her. (Jeff notes that he could pick that song during "Year of your birth" week).

David Archuleta: Absolutely horrid. Out of tune. And bad shirt.

Syesha: Actually seems to be getting better by the week. We probably wouldn't buy her record, but we'd see a musical with her in it, and she'd definitely be appreciated on a Disney soundtrack.

Paula Abdul: What are you smoking?

Guaranteed to be Safe: Syesha. Bottom two last week + good enough performance + Simon saying she's in trouble = 200 votes per fan.

Bottom Two: Jason and Brooke. Although if David Archuleta is ever going to be voted off, this should be the week.
