Why waste your time watching all the new shows trying to decide what's going to be good? If a series turns out to be something worth watching, you can always catch up by renting entire seasons on DVD. (Subscribing to Blockbuster Online is especially good for this purpose). Our latest find is The 4400, now in its fourth season on the USA network. 4400 people abducted over the last 60 years are returned in a ball of light in Seattle, unaged, with no memory of what happened to them, and with special abilities. The first "season" was actually a five-episode mini-series... give it a shot! Disclaimers: You probably have to like sci-fi to enjoy this show. Occasional bad acting may occur.
