Slow News Day Alert

Want to ride a motorcycle in Utah? Passing a written test will get you a temporary permit. You then have six months to practice your riding skills before taking the driving portion of the test and getting your license. It seems that a number of people (nine in the last thirteen months, to be exact) get the temporary permit, practice riding 100 miles an hour on the highway, crash, and die. But have no fear; KSL investigative reporter Debbie Dujanovic is on the case:

"We went undercover to six motorcycle shops to pinpoint why it's happening and who's to blame."

Who's to blame?!? Um, the guy riding recklessly on the motorcycle? Nope. According to Dujanovic, it's the State of Utah for having a lax law.
