Lost often infuriates us with its excruciatingly slow plot development (most episodes can be summarized in one short sentence; for example, last week: "Kate asks Rousseau to help her rescue Jack") but for some reason we keep coming back for more. Must be the X-Files-sytle mystery of it all.
