Yesterday the official high temperature for Salt Lake City was 60 degrees. This morning when we woke up, it was 29 degrees and there were 3 inches of snow on the ground.
And we all know what today is... Presidents' Day, right? Turns out that it's not. The name of today's federal holiday is Washington's Birthday.
We partook in the traditional holiday activity of buying an appliance, specifically a Bosch front-loading washing machine. You do have to admit that "Presidents' Day Sale" has a better ring to it than "Washington's Birthday Sale."
