Billie Beagle dug herself a nice big hole under the fence and escaped, ending up in doggie jail the next morning at the animal shelter. Here is her mug shot. Kudos to Salt Lake County Animal Services, which takes pictures of dogs as they come in and posts them to the Web. Oh, uh, yes, we did pay to have her released.

Poor Billie. I understand Paris Hilton was also in the slammer overnight...did you bail her out, too? I would love to see her mug shot.
