We made our first little planting in the backyard with three agave cacti. You can also tell from the other random items in the photo (extension cord, pick ax, pond liner held down by blocks) that construction continues.


Meanwhile, the bonsai are situated for the summer. We'll probably hold off building the greenhouse until September since there's no use for it until then. In the background of this photo you'll notice a new fence. Ah, maintenance free vinyl.


In the front yard, the first lillies are blooming and the hostas have gone crazy.
