According to the notice we received on our front door this morning, having chickens or roosters on your property is a violation of Salt Lake County Ordinances 19.14.020, 19.04.305, and 19.94.030. Who knew there could be so many anti-chicken laws? We will receive a fine of $50 per day if we do not “remove the fowl” by the 20th. Hmmph. No, we’re not having chicken for dinner. They will be returned to the farm from whence they came. Bonus points for anyone who gets the reference in the title of this post.

Actually, there was product in the 90's called "Chicken Tonight," a variety of sauces to put on chicken. They had a commercial with a rather silly jingle, "I feel like Chicken Tonight... like Chicken Tonight!"
